Gail 1.jpgIn early 1980’s I discovered “Prince Edward County” while on business during my previous career in Veterinary Industry. My background and passion for animals led me from working in Veterinary Clinic as a manager and Technician to covering a great deal of Canada as a Sales Representative.

I accredit my success in sales to the “matching” of finding answers and solutions for people and their pets and homes for homeless pets along the way. My husband and I had a great interest in historical homes and restored our first just north of Toronto.

I fell in love with the “County” and decided that this was our destination, despite friends and family thinking we couldn’t leave the city. For me, the “County” had it all. Surrounded by water, rich in agriculture, fine cuisine, the arts and deep roots in heritage made this the perfect place to be. It took a number of years to accomplish this goal but in 1990 I dragged my husband along with our menagerie to our Century home on 23 acres. Unfortunately, it had a barn, a big fine old hip barn that could hold horses, miniature donkeys and Llamas plus a some chickens, ducks and geese.

It has been a 25 yr. project in restoring this fine home and enjoying every moment of every day in this incredible place. After a 3rd takeover of the company I worked for, “Medi-Cal”(Veterinary Medical Diets), our competition purchased us and it seemed the perfect time to do Real Estate here in the Quinte Region. A top Real Estate Agent that I had worked with to find our special place in the 80’s had encouraged me to get my license and work with her prior to our move. We had just purchased and the recession of 1990 hit.

Since my employment allowed me to live within my large territory, I gave up that dream for many more years to come and begrudged on any nice day leaving this piece of heaven to travel and stay in hotels away. I joined Chestnut Park Real Estate Limited, brokerage when they purchased a long established boutique brokerage, “A Sense of Place”. It seemed like the perfect fit for me and has been. I have been a Recipient of the “Chairman’s Award” from 2008 -2014. In 2014 I was invited to attend the Top Agents International Christie’s Conference in Phoenix Arizona. Christies’ is a great company to be an affiliate of and meeting other top agents from all over the world was a great experience.

I feel very appreciative to be able to live and work in this very special place. I meet so many people who are discovering us here and starting on their quest to find a perfect property for them. As that “find it” person, I endeavour to leave no stone unturned. For a seller wanting to move on in another direction with their life, marketing their property to a wide audience that we do is key.

Providing exemplary service to Sellers and Buyers is what I strive to do with my associates and Office Admin assistant. When not working, I attempt to enjoy my horses, 2 Standard Poodles and a rescue, “Hubbel” as well spare a moment to take in the ongoing activities that are offered here. On a hot day of course, sneaking out for a quick dip in the lake is always a treat. I always say, “There is no place like Home” and I wouldn’t choose mine to be anywhere else than here.



Carey Lewandoski

CareyBW.jpgBorn and raised in Sudbury, Ontario, Carey embarked on life's adventure in 1978, attending King's College University and The University of Western Ontario. He graduated in 1982, majoring in Mathematics & Psychology pursuing what he felt would be a naturally fitting career in the financial services sector; his earlier years spent working with some of the finest sales individuals and insurance companies in London, Ontario. He joined the brokerage firm of Stevenson & Hunt as Account Executive in 1984 and earned his designation as Chartered Linfe Underwriter. A long standing and active member of the Highland Country Club, he balanced career with a love of golf and curling. In 1990, Carey pursued his dream of living on the West Coast and moved to Vancouver, growing a substantial client base within his role as Financial Advisor. A resident of Vancouver's North Shore, he seized every opportunity enjoying BC's natural beauty; an accomplished skier, hiker and outdoor enthusiast.

Upon returning to Ontario in 2006, he saw opportunity in a growing demand for real estate in "The County" and his keen interest of sales led back to what he loves doing most... assisting people. A consistent top producer, he enjoys downtime with his partner at their waterfront home, patiently renovating a family treasure.

Amber Putman

thumb Amber, a forever resident of the County, relocated back to her hometown in 2000 with her daughter after being away for a few short years.

Being raised in the rural community of Bloomfield (not such a bustling village back then lol, only major traffic were school buses and combines) was a fond memory for her and she wanted to make sure her daughter could experience country air, bike rides on back roads and fresh produce straight from the garden!

Amber's experience in marketing and public relations, coupled with her real estate training, allows her to take care of the behind the scenes work involved with being the team's personal assistant!
